Overview
The Swiss Embassy at Américo Vespucio Sur 100, 14th floor, in the Las Condes business district of Santiago manages Switzerland's bilateral relationship with Chile. Switzerland and Chile share strong ties in trade, innovation, and sustainability — Swiss companies are active in Chile's mining technology, food processing, and pharmaceutical sectors. The embassy promotes academic cooperation and cultural exchange. Honorary consulates in Concepción (Bío-Bío and Ñuble regions), Temuco (Araucanía, Los Ríos, Los Lagos), and Punta Arenas (Magallanes and Aysén) provide regional support.
Consular Services
The embassy provides consular services to Swiss citizens in Chile: passport applications, civil registration, notarial acts, and emergency assistance. Appointments must be arranged by email at santiago@eda.admin.ch. Visits without appointment are not accepted. Tel. +56 2 2928 0100.
