Overview
The Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Sydney serves as a local contact point for Icelandic citizens in New South Wales and eastern Australia. The Honorary Consul is Mr. James Baldvin Douglas. Iceland does not maintain a resident embassy in Australia — the Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi (India) is accredited to Australia. The consulate can authenticate documents and provide initial guidance but refers passport, visa, and complex consular matters to the Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi.
