Overview
Grenada's honorary consulate in Vienna occupies a central location on Marc-Aurel-Straße in the 1st district, steps from the Danube Canal and Schwedenplatz. The consulate handles general inquiries and limited consular matters for Grenadian nationals in Austria — the honorary consul position is currently being appointed. Grenada, known as the Caribbean's Spice Island for its nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove production, attracts a niche but growing number of Austrian visitors drawn to Grand Anse Beach, the underwater sculpture park off Molinière Bay, and the unspoiled character of Carriacou island. The consulate serves as a point of contact for Austrian businesses exploring trade with Grenada, particularly in spice exports, eco-tourism development, and the island's expanding marina and yachting sector centered around Port Louis Marina in St. George's.
Service Area
Serves the entire Republic of Austria.
Special Notes
This honorary consulate has no authentication, passport, or visa authority (keine Beglaubigungs-, Pass- und Visabefugnis). For passport and visa matters, contact the Grenada High Commission in London. Austrian citizens do not require a visa for tourist stays in Grenada up to 90 days.
